In business honesty is the ONLY policy. |
Positive Visitor ExperienceThe complete thrust of Aquilifer's design philosophy is to create a Positive Visitor Experience for those who visit your website. This concept intends to involve the visitor in the website so that they would want to return again. If the visitor likes the appearance of the site, enjoys the copy therein, and easily finds the information he is seeking, he is well on the way to the sought for positive experience. Research has shown that visitors relate well to the following features:
Originality is central to the creation of a successful website.
It derives from the experiences and courage of us all. Without
experience, there is no point from which we can begin to innovate,
and without courage, new ventures are never begun. We feel that York
University sums it up best in their motto "Tentanda via" - the way
must be tried. At the same time, all must have the common sense not
to put the customer at risk in any way through unwise ventures. To
maintain originality within acceptable bounds is the key to your
success and ultimately... ours.It is especially true in business today, that the most successful companies are those that go the extra mile for their customers. It is definitely the standard operating procedure at Aquilifer, where we strive constantly to bring the best tools and ideas to bear on your problems. Our commitment is to spend your money wisely by combining our knowledge with yours - and thus producing a web site that will achieve your ends. Compatibility is our next commandment. At the time of this writing, there are several windows browsers, and others attacking from all sides. There are also several different computer platforms and operating systems, all capable of operating in several viewing resolutions. Unless there is a compelling reason to throw some of the market aside, it is necessary to use features and methods which can be handled correctly by all of your prospective clients on their various hardware and software. A simple example is fonts. There are many beautiful and powerful fonts which are readily available on today's market. The catch is that not many customers have installed these fonts on their hardware. The only way to make sure that an exotic font properly displays, is to convert it into a graphic. This adds considerable expense to a project in both creation, storage and transmission costs. If it's worth the effort then it must be done, but it must be done in a way that is compatible with our target audience. And of course it goes without saying that it must be worth the cost. |
